About Son Bono

The San Alonso Rodríguez House of Spirituality is part of the Society of Jesus’ network of spirituality centers and retreat houses. Located in Palma (Mallorca) and surrounded by a beautiful setting, Son Bono’s primary mission is to accompany people on their journey toward God through the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises and through personal and communal discernment.

In these times, it is becoming increasingly necessary to pause and connect with our inner selves, creating spaces to talk about God and with God. Through silence, serenity, and contemplation, Son Bono is the ideal space for these processes of introspection.

The House is part of the Safe Environment System and the Care and Respect Program promoted by the Society of Jesus in all its works and institutions. The goal is to create safe spaces where people care for and respect one another, living out the values inherent in Ignatian spirituality.

Hospitality Project

A warm welcome and a spirit of service are core values at Son Bono. For this reason, the care and attention provided to groups are rooted in a spirit of hospitality that embraces the people who live in the house and take care of it.

This initiative is part of the Hospitality Project that Son Bono is carrying out in collaboration with the Montesión Solidaria Foundation.
